Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Junior Foreman. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the Foreman in overseeing daily construction activities, ensuring safety compliance, and contributing to the successful completion of projects. You will work collaboratively with crew members, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Foreman in planning, scheduling, and coordinating daily construction activities.
• Ensure that all crew members are aware of safety protocols and procedures and adhere to them at all times.
• Conduct safety briefings and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• Monitor the quality of work performed by crew members and provide feedback as needed.
• Train and develop less experienced crew members.
• Prepare and maintain daily reports on project progress, labor hours, and material usage.
• Troubleshoot problems and identify solutions to keep projects on track.
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite.
• Operate and maintain basic construction equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Foreman.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in construction (experience as a laborer or in a related field is a plus).
• Strong understanding of construction safety principles and practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic and a commitment to quality.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• A valid driver's license is preferred.

Experience:
