Qualification: Graduate / Post Graduate

Category Manager will work closely with the HOD and will have end-to-end responsibility for consumer demand, experience, and growth of the categories he/she will be assigned to - PAN India. Have a thorough understanding of the industry, category, brand & retail objectives, online & offline competition, trends/events, competition, vendors with a strong understanding of growth levers Creating a data-driven long-term product and category roadmap. Identifying new product development opportunities to launch products under existing and new brands. P&L ownership - Revenue, bottom line target Developing and bringing to market new products.

Day-to-day pricing management in line with market operating prices and competitive benchmarks (continuous day-to-day communication with sellers mgt. team on optimal buying prices). Coordinating product development with vendors, cost negotiations, product packaging etc. Managing Buying and Marketplace monthly sales plan. Maintain optimum level of inventory from the sellers at multiple locations. Driving various input metrics to drive business growth Designing and implementing new processes to help scale business. In-depth category understanding to oversee value creation and customer experience enhancement basis the needs of the customers and market analysis. Identify key national/regional brands and onboard them on the platform. Negotiate terms and build the value proposition offered by the platform on price/ catalogue etc.
