Responsibilities

CSSG (Cyber Security Solutions Group) designs and implements security for homegrown business Platforms.

The Application Security Architect needs to define and design and drive the implementation of Secure SDLC with a shift-left approach. The architect needs to work closely with platform development & engineering teams and business owners, and be able to convince them to adopt processes to integrate security into all phases of product lifecycle. The architect needs to perform reviews of the Application architecture and provide inputs from a security perspective.

Additional Responsibilities:

Experience in Application Vulnerability management and Penetration Testing
Knowledge of application security reference architectures and frameworks – OWASP Top 10, BSIMM, etc.
Knowledge of contemporary web application technology and practices (such as containers, APIs, Microservices) and their respective security implications
Experience working with development teams
Expertise with DevSecOps practices and integrating security in the CI/CD development pipeline.
Prior enterprise application development experience is highly desirable
Industry accepted certifications - CSSLP etc – are highly desirable
